Woah it's been a whole month since I've updated this blog! I figured I'd give a quick update on my hip saga... (Yes, I'm aware I have the body of an 85 year old!!)
As I think I posted previously I found out this winter that I actually have Hip Dysplasia in my right hip... yes just like the Chocolate Lab I had growing up... While one hip specialist is recommending exploratory surgery followed by a bigger surgery to fix my "hip deformity," I have decided to opt out of that option!! My regular hip specialist (who is really great I might add!) is joining me on Team Letsputoffsurgeryforaslongaspossible THANKFULLY!! He has actually recommended I go back to seeing my chiropractor (who I also happen to love!) to see if she can help me as she has in the past. While it is frustrating to have gone through so much poking, prodding, appointments, xrays, MRI's, and a CT scan just go end up back where I am started, at least I now know there is a legit reason for all of my pain!! = )
The really good news is that the Power Strips are still helping me to control my pain!! Don't get me wrong--- for sure I still have my good days and bad days painwise, but thanks to these "magic strips" as I like to call them, I am having A LOT more good days than I was before. I am so grateful that I was introduced to these strips!
I truly am not a sales person (I leave that to my dad ;) ) But I am literally obsessed with finding more people to help with these strips.
